Τhe Directorate of Archaeological Museums, Exhibitions and Educational Programs in cooperation with the Directorate of Documentation and Protection of Cultural Goods created the digital exhibition "Stolen Past/Lost Future", based on the photographic exhibition with the aim of alerting the public and raising awareness of matters pertaining to the protection of cultural heritage as widely as possible.

The photography exhibition is the outcome within the framework of a cooperation agreement between the Ministry of Culture and Sports of Greece and the Ministry of Science, Research and Arts of Baden-Württemberg's State (2016), under the general coordination of the Hellenic General Directorate of Antiquities and Cultural Heritage. Since 2018, the photography exhibition has been presented in museums and universities in Germany and Switzerland and received extremely positive feedback and continues to be presented in Greek museums within the territory of Greece.​
