Learning about ancient theater by setting up a performance...
During the current school year 2017-2018, the Ephorate of Antiquities of Chania organizes an educational program entitled "Learning about ancient theater by setting up a performance...". The program is divided into two parts and is addressed to students of the 3rd grade of highschool. The first part takes place at the New Archaeological Museum of Chania, where the young students learn about the ancient theater through dialogue, making of theater masks and play. In the second part, which will be realized during spring time at the ancient Aptera, students will perform in the ancient theater.
