The Ephorate of Antiquities of Thesprotia is organising on June 16, 2021 at 11.00 a.m. the 4th
Management Team Meeting of the Project "Coastal Heritage Network - CoHeN", which -due to the
current measures of protection of public health by COVID-19- will be held online.
The Coastal Heritage Network (CoHeN) is a strategic project funded by the Interreg V-A Greece-
Italy Programme 2014/2020. The project has a total budget of 6.420.600€ and is due to run from
July 2019 to December 2022.
The partners of the project are the Ephorate of Antiquities of Aitoloakarnania and Lefkada, as
lead partner, and also the Ephorate of Antiquities of Ilia, the Ephorate of Antiquities of Thesprotia,
the Ephorate of Antiquities of Corfu and the Puglia regional authorities in Italy.
The main aim of the project is to create an Adriatic-Ionian coastal route which will connect
important cultural heritage monuments from both of the collaborating regions. This will be
achieved through a series of targeted interventions at a total of 17 monuments, 11 in Greece and
six in Puglia.
During the meeting, the five project partners will present the progress of the ongoing works on
the monuments and the steps to be taken in the next months, as well as the common actions
planned for the creation of the Adriatic - Ionian coastal cultural route.
