​On Sunday 26 August 2018, at 21.30 the Museum of Byzantine Culture in collaboration with the Center of Culture of the Central Macedonia Region, within the framework of the celebration of the August Full Moon organized each year by the General Directorate of Antiquities and Cultural Heritage of the Ministry of Culture will host the music performance "From Broadway to Hollywood" at the Museum's atrium.

The public will enjoy emblematic songs featured in awarded movies and musicals performed by the distinguished lyrical singers Sofia Mitropoulou (soprano), Armando Puklavec (baritone) and Panayotis Maniatis (tenor). Dimitrios Nepkas at the piano and Panagiotis Kountouris at the Electone. Distinguished lyrical artists, known to the public from opera productions, perform – in surprising roles- an impressive and very special programme.

The programme also comprises songs from celebrated musicals (ex. «Les Miserables», «West side story» etc.) but also songs from the movies and other spectacles.

 Entrance for the public is free.

 The Museum will remain open for the public until 21.15, with free entrance between 20.00 and 21:15.
