The subject of the proposal layouts of the open architectural competition has been: 'Redesign of the existing cereal's warehouse building facilities (Silo) and its surrounding open space into a Museum of the Underwater Antiquities. Regeneration of the coastal zone of Piraeus Port Authority S.A and its transformation into an open public space for outdoor activities'.
Aim of the competition has been:
1. the design of a unique, for Greece, Museum of Underwater Antiquities
2. The development of an urban open space with identity, in the center of the modern harbor, a core of education, art and recreation. A space connected with the urban fabric and its citizens.
